A 4th-year graduate student in the Brain and Body Lab, Naomi studies how early experiences affect the development of the gut- and oral-microbiome-brain axes. Her research integrates microbiome data, neuroendocrine biomarkers, electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and questionnaires, with the ultimate goal of identifying ways in which the connections between the microbiome and brain can be leveraged to improve health in at-risk youth.
In her free time, she enjoys biking and playing tabletop games.
