Join The Team

For anyone interested in joining the Brain and Body Lab (BABLab), or for those of you who just want to know a little bit more about our group, please read out lab manual. Details on open positions in the lab can be found below.

For Research Staff

The BABLab is not currently looking for any research staff. Please check back again soon.

For Prospective Graduate Students

Feel free to check out our page for Prospective Graduate Students.

For Prospective Postdoctoral Researchers

There are no open postdoctoral positions in the BABLab. However, we will always consider people who are interested in pursuing postdoctoral training with us. If you are interested in pursuing a postdoc in the BABLab, please send a copy of your CV, as well as a statement of your prior experience and current training interests to Dr. Callaghan: bcallaghan@ucla.edu

For Undergraduate Students / Volunteers

The BABLab is often looking for dedicated undergraduate student volunteers. In addition to contributing to the day-to-day operations of the lab, volunteers may help collect data, and receive training in various research protocols. Because we make a significant time investment in training volunteers, you must be available at least 10 hours per week. Moreover, you must be reliable, efficient, responsible, and mature. There is a 6 month probation period for all volunteers.

Volunteering in the lab is a valuable experience and in addition to working on various studies, you will also have the opportunity to participate in lab meetings and present findings.

If you are interested in volunteering, please send a copy of your CV, your hours and days of availability, and a brief description of what you would like to get out of a volunteer experience in the BABLab (including any credits needed) to the following email address: bablab.ucla@gmail.com

**We are currently accepting applications for a Senior Research Assistant position at the Brain and Body Lab. If you are interested, email bablab.ucla@gmail.com or kristenchu@ucla.edu with your CV or resume.**
